We just had to get to Aragon for the first European round of the 2014 SBK season. Apart from getting our superbike ‘fix’ - we had just signed on as an official sponsor of world Champions Kawasaki and we were dying to see their new world class hospitality!

We never expected many guests here -- this is probably the least well-attended event in Europe for both SBK and MotoGP. However even we were surprised that following a group cancellation, we were left with just 1 customer! However Ellis from Scotland was of course delighted with the 1:1 staff to customer ratio! We of course got EVERYWHERE - the garage, of course the hospitality, the service road (Ellis even got a private tour on the scooter!), parc ferme and the podium ceremonies!

Saturday night we were honoured to join Kawasaki for dinner with the team.

It was great to meet up with Tom and Loris and the whole Kawi team again, and the results were simply stunning: Kawasaki were 1st and 2nd slots on the grid, and both races took 1st (Tom Sykes) and 2nd (Loris Baz) on the podium, and their EVO rider David Salom was top EVO.  I am afraid it will be impossible for them to improve next time!

Aragon is small and out-of-the-way, but the town is so excited when the events arrive that the atmosphere is brilliant.  We all had a great time!
