The Pole Position Travel “Boys”

One of the things that makes this such as rewarding business is the opportunity we have to get behind some of the young athletes in the sport and not just watch their careers, but actively help them.

This takes it well beyond “business” - we personally support these riders, get to know them, their families, and share their ups and downs.

Permanently etched in our memory are some of these moments.  See below, and click on each for more about them.

In 2014 we are supporting these riders to a total of a significant 6 figure sum.  We are serious about this!  Please read more about “our” boys and how you can help out!

You can be a guest of any of these riders for the weekend INSIDE THE PADDOCK - partaking of their hospitality, visiting their garage and bike, and sharing the thrills and spills of an intimate MotoGP weekend!

For more information on how to so this, see our ClubGP Products.

We are also VERY keen to help these riders gain further personal sponsorship. We a NOT managers - thus you can talk to us about opportunities as a (relatively!) objective and experienced resource. You’d be surprised at how little it is to get behind some of the younger riders (€10,000 or sometimes even less). Contact us in complete confidence.

English rider Danny Webb taking his first ever pole position in Valencia 2011. We have been sponsoring Danny since 2007. In 2014 he is riding for our all-time favourite event, the Isle of Man TT!

More on:

Cal Crutchlow (35) MotoGP

Yonny Hernandez (68) MotoGP

Brad Binder (41) Moto3

Jakub Kornfeil (84) Moto3

Sam Lowes (22) Moto2

Olly Simpson (45) Rookies

Danny Webb (99) Isle of Man

South African rider Brad Binder winning the Rookies Cup race of Estoril (by the largest margin in Rookies history). We started supporting Brad when he was in the Rookies Cup in 2010

English rider Cal Crutchlow taking his first MotoGP podium, also at Brno in 2012. We have supported Cal since his entry into MotoGP in 2011

Czech rider Jakub Kornfeil sensationally winning the 2009 Rookies Cup World championship at his home round in Brno. We started supporting “Kuba” in 2009

British rider Gino Rea had a tricky 2013 season. After his team collapsed pre-season, he rode wild card for most European rounds. As a substitute rider in Phillip Island we celebrated his first points! He is full time in 2014

We are delighted for the opportunity to start working with MotoGP rider from Colombia Yonny Hernandez. Now with Pramac Ducati, he will be an exciting guy to watch.  Come join him in the paddock!

Sadly, the low points hit us as well. Although we weren’t sponsors, we worked closely with Team Honda Gresini and Marco Simoncelli for two years, his fatal accident at Sepang 2011 reminds us all that this sport is not tennis. See our personal tribute.

Also new in 2014 is the reigning World Supersport Champion Sam Lowes!  Sam is riding his rookie year for SpeedUp and we are dead keen to see if his dominance in WSS can carry over to the Grand Prix grid!
